Our mission statement for Carolslight.org starts with, “Each of us has something- we all share grief and light.” With this reality, Carolslight wanted to reach and identify with those in need of mindfulness guidance in order for us all to live our lives to the fullest. Trauma and anxiety are two of the most recognized sensitivities patients experience. Trauma can be trigged by a simple touch on the arm, a phone call or even a smell. Being mindful of your inner thoughts and knowing how to pull from your own natural resources can help with triggers. Acknowledge the trigger, use internal resources, and deflect the anxiety caused from the trigger. Our classes help to identify triggers and offer guidance with breaths, yoga pose(s), relaxation, meditation, and nutrition.
We will customize a class for specific needs and help identify hidden triggers. We offer sessions live or recorded on Zoom, which can be scheduled to meet the needs of the participant (with or without family). Our custom recorded classes can also be used for the participant to review when or if needed. Currently, our in-person classes are limited.
We understand how quiet and confused some are with triggers and anxieties. Along with our programs, we can also offer Therapy Dog visits or suggest a Therapeutic Art class in addition to a custom Yoga & Mindfulness class. We hope to hear from you.
